This is an often reminder of how we must always trust the process. The moment you realize God is in control is when you’ll find rest in every situation. Here is an account where we find in the scriptures: [Joseph, who was sold as a slave, they bruised his feet with fetters and placed his neck in an iron collar. Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character. Psalm 105:17-19].

God has given me many visions and dreams. But what I have discovered is, the purpose in doing so is to show me a glimpse of my future and was never meant for me to focus on but to be shelved for future reference. What I am to address is the NOW (the present), for here is where you’ll find God in the midst. He will show you things by directing you on where you need to be and on what you need to do. You see where I missed it, was that I was so busy focusing on the vision God gave me that eventually became the distraction. You ask, how does this happen? Well, when I didn’t see my present circumstances lining up with the vision it ultimately produced doubt, confusion and uncertainty. The vision is never intended to be the focus, but for hope of the promise. Our present includes all the necessary elements used to build character fit for the future.

This journey started for me back in 1994 where CodeNYC began. It has been in operation on and off ever since. What I had to come to terms with is to take it seriously and allowing myself to develop the desire to grow into it. Well, 21+ years later here I am. It’s amazing to see how God’s hand has been on the whole process from the beginning. Many wins and some looses, but the most cherished part is He building my confidence to pursue the dream. By trusting in the Lord with ALL of your heart in everything you do, He will meet you in your journey too. Be encouraged. [To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. Luke 19:26(NLT)].

I’m standing committed to God’s vision. Looking forward to sharing all the new things that are unfolding here daily. For this is a faith walk. Will speak to you again soon!
